The human body is made up of 11 separate systems that do independent parts to keep your body working at its best. Your immune system's primary purpose is to protect you against all the antigens, like persistent bacteria that want nothing more than attacking your body and break it down to make it more susceptible to infection and disease. Your immune system is the gatekeeper for what goes in and what stays outside your body. When it works, there is no chance for viruses and toxins. When that's not the case, the gates are wide open.
Your body often shows signs of a strong immune system. One example is when you get bitten by a mosquito. A bumpy red itch is a sign that your immune system is working. The flu or a cold is a typical example of your body failing to stop germs/bacteria before they enter. However, when you recover from a cold or the flu, it is evidence that your immune system was able to eliminate the invader after recognizing it and responding to its defense. If your immune system does nothing, you won't beat a cold or anything else for that matter. When you are sick, your body is not able to function at its full potential.
Depending on the nature of what got you under the weather, a prescription or over-the-counter medication may be needed if your immune system doesn't react or respond quickly enough. This is very normal. Antibiotics were created for this reason.

Living a healthy lifestyle is your best option for a strong immune system. Every part of your body works best when fed with healthy foods, a positive environment, and minimal stress. Here are some easy tips for a stronger immune system that won't confuse you.

1. Daily exercise

There are many benefits to exercise, including preventing arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and more. Exercise has also been shown to enhance and improve various components of the immune system. Exercise also improves the quality of your sleep and increases immune function. Go for a walk, become a member of a fitness center, find some fun exercises, and stick to a routine. Exercise also doubles as a mood and mental booster  two benefits in one.

 2. Sun:

Enjoy moderate exposure to the sun a few times each week. Vitamin D is necessary to your immune system. If you are not able to get out, consider taking a vitamin D supplement as an alternative. Of course, with sun exposure, it's also important to put an SPF.

3.Beware:

 Nothing good comes from worrying. Your body will be more relaxed and feel refreshed with some peace and quiet. Stress can be immunosuppressive because of the way it creeps in and likes stability, affecting appetite, sleep habits, and even daily routine.

4. Promote intestinal health:

Your intuition knows when you're happy... In fact, your gut knows just about everything. Keep it in check!

5. Get enough sleep:

It's simple, really, getting a good night's sleep. Is your body's chance to rest and recover. Aim for a good 7-9 hours each night. Eliminating distractions, going to bed when you're tired, and cutting out sugary foods will really change your life

Some cytokines need to be increased when you have an infection or inflammation, or when you are under stress. Sleep deprivation decrease the production of protective cytokines. In addition, antibodies and infection-fighting cells are reduced during periods of not getting enough sleep.

When you replace your bad health habits with good ones you will maintain a strong immune system.
